This “Om, Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah Sarve Santu Niramaya” means “May everyone be happy” which means that everyone, every animal, every person and every atom, energy or whatever creatures should be happy and free from suffering. The prayer is so simple that it is easy to remember such a simple meaning as “May everyone be happy and healthy.” Repetition of this mantra can fill you with compassion and loving-kindness as it exemplifies an altruistic mindset of well-being for everyone, not just for humans, but for all sentient beings.
